Here are 2 small pastels I did last week of the river Ythan on Ampersand pastel board which I’ve never tried before. They are small panels with a rough surface for the pastel to hold onto. I’m trying out a brighter palette which I’m excited about. The boards were good – the pastel stuck to them well and they took water well too.
