I’m taking the plunge and supporting the Artists Support Pledge movement, which was set up by artist Matthew Burrows in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic. It is a global movement where artists can post work to sell for under £200 (excluding shipping) on Instagram under the hashtag #artistsupportpledge. If and when they sell £1000 worth of work, they pledge to spend £200 on another artists’ work. There is also the option to give a donation to charity. The work is for anyone to buy and is a great way to get affordable artwork.
