A hot day at Sandend beach with the iconic tank traps in the forground (cast concrete cubes with spiky rocks on top used as beach defenses during WW2, they are all round the northeast coast).
This painting is sold in a wooden frame painted with Farrow & Ball’s ‘Clunch’ colour, and slightly distressed to give a vintage, coastal feel.
